Abitibi Sled Dogs offers a guided half day sled dog adventure where you can experience the tranquil Northern Ontario boreal forest during the winter. This is a 1.5 hour on trail experience where you can choose to drive your own team or enjoy the experience as a passenger in a dog sled. We cater our tours to your desired experience.
This tour offers a safety talk and demonstration, 1.5 hours on trail experience, afterwards you can meet the dogs and take pictures while enjoying a fire, snacks and hot chocolate.
*Youth under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the tour. No one under the age of 16 will be permitted to drive a sled, guests younger than 16 must experience tour as passenger.
If you need to cancel a month or more in advance of your trip date, you will receive a Full Refund. With shorter notice (less than 1 month) before your trip date, receiving a refund is contingent upon us being able to rebook your tour date/time. There’s a 10% Administration Fee applied to refund amount if your tour is rebooked.
Rescheduling your tour will be offered in the event of operator cancellation due to weather conditions or safety concerns. Should rescheduling not be possible, a full refund will be offered.
