1. Booking and Reservation:
– To secure your spot on a dog sled tour, a reservation must be made in advance through our website or authorized booking channels.
– Full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
-If you need to cancel a month or more in advance of your trip date, you will receive a Full Refund. With shorter notice (less than 1 month) before your trip date, receiving a refund is contingent upon us being able to rebook your tour date/time. There’s a 10% Administration Fee applied to refund amount if your tour is rebooked.
Rescheduling your tour will be offered in the event of operator cancellation due to weather conditions or safety concerns. Should rescheduling not be possible, a full refund will be offered.
– Abitibi Sleddogs reserves the right to cancel or modify tours due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or rescheduling option will be provided.
3. Participant Requirements:
– Participants must be in good health and capable of engaging in outdoor physical activities.
– Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
– Participants are required to follow the guide’s instructions at all times for their safety and the well-being of the sled dogs.
4. Assumption of Risk:
– Dog sledding involves inherent risks associated with outdoor activities. Participants acknowledge and assume these risks voluntarily.
– Abitibi Sleddogs is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss sustained during the tour.
5. Health and Safety:
– Participants with pre-existing medical conditions or concerns are advised to consult with a healthcare professional before booking a tour.
– Abitibi Sleddogs reserves the right to deny participation to individuals deemed unfit for the tour due to health or safety concerns.
6. Animal Welfare:
– Participants are expected to treat the sled dogs with respect and follow the guidelines provided by the guides regarding their care and interaction.
7. Liability Waiver:
– All participants are required to sign a liability waiver before the start of the tour. Parents or legal guardians must sign on behalf of minor participants.
8. Photography and Media:
– Participants may be photographed or filmed during the tour for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of such media by Abitibi Sleddogs.
